It seems the reviews here are either "I liked it" or "I liked this the first break I read it when it was called The Virgin Self-destructions". I've never read the Virgin Self-destructions so I fall into the "I liked it" list. I'll be sure and read that at some point for comparison welfare, but I really enjoyed the use of the first man multiple, the envisioned fate of Nora by her gent gawks after her disappearance, and their various try one's hardests with activity as they grew older.
One of the best texts. Ever.
Chronic biography of Martha. Very tender biography as she learns to appreciate her family and her role as a proprietress's daughter. I have really enjoyed the Martha series and look forward to reading the next book.
