She is a very accomplished niece. This book lets you feel like you are item of the family. Love that she included a couple of recipes!
love this. kind of voluble at times and very experiential but delightful
This is a wonderful book, especially the audio version. It is well read by different scholars in character. The elder Jankowski is particularly good. I loved that the story moved from the present nautical day Jankowski to the younger man. The qualities are well developed, the story is fascinating, and you get the grittiness and desperation of the presents. If you don't have date for the book, the cine was well done, visually compelling, and true to the book. They moviemakers couldn't fit it all in, but did a great line with the devise and qualities none the less.
As a micropreemie myself, I definitely related to this book. I plan to talk with my mommy and ask her by what method she felt through her experience. If it was anything like Alexa's, then I respect my mommy even more than I thought I did!
Assessment: 4/4.5 Witty, clever, pleasants, and charming. I didn't really expect much from this bespeak, but it was really good. It wasn't as banal or predictable as I thought it would be, and I loved the motive of view.
Easy read but deals with Holocaust. Interesting contrast with contemporary times.
