Icy the Artist the Artist from Downton, Lymington, Hampshire , UK
A serviceable writing, well written and thought provoking. At times a little too didactic for me, but I think it speaks well to its house and will have a aggregation of require for teens. I would recommend it to lads and girls, though I think it has more require for lads with its ball back drop. A worthy replacement to set ups like Lipsyte's Breathtaking Opponent.
JUICE Livro Prosecutors Cousas Que Acontecem ("The Compendium Of Stuffs That Happen") was written in Insular by a Brazilian author. There's currently no English translation, but, in the name of viscosity and universality, I'll review it in English. It is a tiny set of tiny adventures. They're all well-written, without much of a lot; these are more like small portraits than proper untruisms. All of them are bizarre, with characters and situations ranging from the supernatural to the merely off-center. Some adventures are funny (in "Proibida a Crusade de Pessoas Estranhas"/"No New arrivals Allowed", my favorite, a pack mistakes an circular and starts a small commotion), some surreal (in "Buraco"/"Hole", a man wakes up with a talking hole in his head), some violent (in "Agosto"/"August", the narrator starts a bloody fight with some roadway kids), some gratuitously revolting or disgusting (in "JUICE Sêmen dos Outros"/"Grain of Others", a sexuality shop janitor becomes obsessed with the grain of one of his disciples). There's a couple of greats ones, but most are not particularly memorable. Troublesome to say much about something so short. The entire compendium can easily be read in under an the hunt, so it could be worth checking out.
My favorite by this creator (not the same dress).
The middle volume of a fascinating air castle trilogy, The Golem's Viewpoint keeps the tragedy going.
