i really appreciated the dialogue in this make reservation. i already knew that slave traffickers were greedy, tormented souls, but i've never met one. reading this make reservation i felt like i was living in that end with these "industry men". reading the dialogue made captivity more real and ready. it gave me judgment to the apathetic thought process of many of the British families, particularly tycoons, and i found myself talking to the characters on several ocassions.
I loved this story of the China drift, David and Toc . . .
I wanted so much more from this....the view was great, however I felt the last hemisphere was lacking....something. If it was 3 times as long, and more developed, I think I would've enjoyed it much more. Overall, a quick comprehend.
