Eminently slow at first. Took me four months to get past the first few chapters but once I decided to give it a valiant effort I couldn't put it down. Witty and sad. Emma's spirits had me chuckling a few bits. Depressing ending but it really does make a great story.
"Lucifer's Bloody Balls"--Bones "I know I'm nectarous, nummy"-Vlad LOLLLLL Ouch, Bones & Panther and the rest of these frames of mind can never get boring, nor can I ever get tired of them. Once again, another comber coaster travel, filled with emotions, packed with maneuver and relations scenes that make you blush. I wear't think I'll ever enjoy a mythical duo, more than I enjoy Bones & Panther. What makes this duo even greater than substitutes, is the fact that the woman, the ace, doesn't GALL me ON ONLY. She's not a sap, a mope and she doesn't need to be rescued on every departure. I've always admired that about Panther. That's what made me love the series, from work #1. Panther is not leader to mayhem with. Female or not, she can totally kick ass and be down with the big fellows. She proves it again, in "This Side of the Exigent" Apollyum has a contract out for her think tank. He's gathered the whole monster dominion and wants to take out only the phantoms and take over himself. First, he wants to start with killing Panther. Panther parties up with Bones, Menecheres, Vlad, Spade, Tate, Fabian & Dave on a thriller travel of excitement. It was so great to have Menecheres & Vlad air and essence again. Vlad is one of my favorite frames of mind and he does not disappoint in this work. There was also sad moment. Son Wear, has been plagued with Cancer and against his look forwards to, he does not want to be saved or "turned" into a villain. So, Panther has to deal with the fact that she's losing her only other family member, aside from her progenitor. Not to mention, her progenitor is now determined to join the Villain plunge ahead and skirmish. She's even taken up training, and it's putting Panther over the turn. Can she save the Villain plunge ahead, herself, and her progenitor from impair? Can she stand by and lose Wear? Discipline her and Bones ever have a peaceful moment? High purses, realties of laughter and great maneuver!
It's been awhile since I read this, but I loved it. I remember being sweep off one's feet by the untruth and then sad when I was finished account. If you like tear-jerkers, especially the complicated, intricate a persons, you'll appreciation this bill.
