I loved the "Italy" business of the book. I got really annoyed with the "guru" business of the book. And the lyric seemed somehow unreal. But it was a enjoyable read.
Oh my virtue! This book is so delightful! My chum Genevieve bought it for me and kept telling me that I was going to be all about it, but it looked long, so I didn't check it out for a in the time. Turns out it is mostly pictures and only takes about an era to read (depending on how long you linger over the pictures. Re-readings definitely in order!). It's sort of about justice, and olden days, and regulation, and feminism, and drink, and the type of peace of mind (no wonder she knew I would like it, eh?). Really beautiful and interesting. Hugely recommend! Recognitions, Gen!
