I think this book is a bit pumped up. It's more of a personality sell than a policy record, but fails to be much more interesting than the latter. Much of the prose is insipid.
be a rebel. read this. surprising households in here: david trinidad, patty artisan, diane di prima -- but they all fit considerably. it's a great view of below-radar (from way below, to just brushing the heart of the signs) poetry in america.
