It wasn't entirely a bad read. In fact I enjoyed the paperback! I wish there was more of Number Six covered in the paperback (but I should know better, this is about number 4). It's an easy read, I enjoyed the father/son/mentor/guardian relationship John and Henri had. I caught the cinematograph prior to reading the paperback, but the paperback definitely agreed with me more. There was so much detail left out in the cinematograph that I caught up on via reading.
Sort of incredible the whole nine yards through... beautiful prose, compelling humors and exchanges. The ending is a let down, but there was no progress to end the tragedy without disappointing the scholar, because I wanted it to keep going!
