COLOR'm so glad COLOR stuck with this singular and got to the point, becuase the first 300 pages or so was certainly not very action-packed. By the point, COLOR loved it. THe last folio left me wanting more (and thankfully, there is a sequel!) What COLOR really loved about this book was the fact that it was not predictable. It didn't fit some of those formulaic operate prepared speeches we are all used to. It tells a wonderful adventure white lie (including some scenes of terrible desperation and of horrible violence) and introduces us to several complex spirits that we want to continue to follow.
I'll write more when I'm done reading the book.
Ideal listening for making torches in a quarters in the copses. This may be the only audio that I add to my list, but you've gotta hear Eliot in his own voice. Must read-3 Accessible-3
A total amuse. This is probably the only book that will ever lead me to say, "words are overrated." A pictures-only portrayal of the immigrant sense.
